We have recently added items to our menu which are receiving some wonderful reviews.
We have a Carne Asada Frito (marinated skirt steak strips fried and served with our version of ranchero sauce made from scratch) and have added this with our famous Coconut Shrimp and Powder Wings onĀ the Tres Amigos appetizer platter with chipotle glaze and queso ranchero.
We have added a couple new sandwiches: Torton de Guadalajara which is served fully loaded with tomato, lettuce and avocado topped with a heaping portion of our beef barbacoa sauteed with onions and ranchero sauce, a messy but delectable treat, and the Cemita Poblana a flash fried chicken breast napped with Chipotle Salsa (Puebla style) covered with Oaxacan style string cheese, with lettuce, tomato, avocado and cilantro on a cemita bun with sesame seed. AY QUE RICO!!!
One new quesadilla has been added: the Mole Chicken Quesadilla with our earthy mole sauce and quesa fresca.
The Enchiladas category has some tasty new arrivals with: Frijoles y Maiz; a trio of chillied flour tortillas stuffed with a black bean and roast corn salsa, quesa fresca and topped with crema fresca. Or the mouth watering Enchiladas Pato, duck enchiladas napped with a Cointreau Orange Butter Cream and crema fresca, and the Beef Barbacoa Enchilada. MUY SABROSO!!!
Ribs Ranchero Palapas (baby back ribs braised and slathered with Ranchero Sauce a la Las Palapas), Enchiladas Suiza (chicken, spinach, onions and green chiles rolled in a corn tortilla and smothered with a cream sauce and cheese) and Jamaican Run Downs Caribbean style coconutĀ curry with a hint of rum, your choice of Chicken, Shrimp or Dorado) are the new favorites from our Especialidades de Las Palapas category along with the back by popular demand feature: Enchiladas con Mole.And for the sweet tooth we have perfected the bread and butter pudding – Pudin de Panadero served with our Cointreau Orange Butter Cream, quite possibly the richest dessert in the hemisphere as well as Mango Cheesecake Flautas.
